The Official Irish Province of Carmelites Website:

This site contains information about many aspects of Carmelite life. It includes a detailed history of the Order in Ireland, our various ministries, and the houses in which we serve. This website also contains rich discussions of Carmelite Spirituality and various Carmelite figures, such as St. Thérèse of Lisieux, St. John of the Cross, St. Teresa of Avila and many others.

The Official Order of Carmelites Website:

This website contains up-to-date information about the Order throughout the world. It is also possible to subscribe to CITOC here. CITOC is a service which regularly provides short emails given the latest news about the Order.


The Carmelite Institute of Britain and Ireland (CIBI) provides distance learning courses on Carmelite Spirituality. Programmes available range from Adult Learning Certificate courses all the way through to an M.A. course.
